Actors Bae, Park to tie knot

Actor Bae Yong-joon, 42, and actress Park Soo-jin, 29, have announced their upcoming marriage in the fall through their agency, KeyEast Entertainment, on Thursday.
Although the specific date and location of the wedding has not been determined yet, the parents of both sides have approved the marriage.
According to the entertainment agency, which Bae heads, the two have known each other as colleagues for some time but their relationship became intimate in February.
Rumors have spread that the hurry to marry is because Park is pregnant.
The agency, however, has flatly denied the stories and claimed that Park will carry on with her career after the wedding.
The agency also emphasized that one of the biggest reasons for speeding up the process is that Bae greatly dislikes paparazzi, who would have taken advantage of the two Korean stars if they were spotted dating.
The agency added that although the time they have been together may not be long, they clicked very well because they have common interests in diverse fields.
Bae became one of the iconic Hallyu, or Korean Wave, stars after taking on the male lead in the popular drama “Winter Sonata” (2002).
After starring in various drama series, he became a businessman. As the CEO of KeyEast Entertainment, which many Korean stars such as Kim Soo-hyun and Han Ye-seul belong to, he is currently focusing more on this than his acting. He also runs the coffee place called Gorilla in the Cafe in Waikiki, Hawaii.
Park made her debut as a member of the girl group Sugar in 2001. The group, however, disbanded in 2006, which led her to start building on her acting career. She appeared in various drama series, including “Flower Boys Next Door” (2013) and “The Blade and Petal” (2013).
The actress currently hosts “Tasty Road,” which provides viewers with information about delicious places to dine at.
