Lee Jung-shin joins new variety show

Lee Jung-shin of K-pop boy band CNBLUE has been added to the cast of the SBS variety show “Shaolin Clenched Fist2.”

The latest addition to the lineup of stars includes comedian Kim Byeong-man, singer Yook Joong-wan and actors Park Chul-min and On Joo-wan. All the new cast members are set to join the filming on Tuesday, according to industry insiders.

Lee, 23, has earlier starred in various dramas such as KBS 2TV soap “Seoyoung, My Daughter” and “The Blade and Petal” as well as SBS TV series “Temptation” while maintaining his musical career as a member of the quartet.

The program features all the cast members living at the Shaoline temple in China to go through martial arts training.
