Singer and actress Son Dam-bi signed a new contract with talent agency KeyEast Entertainment, headed by celebrated actor and businessman Bae Yong-jun, Monday.

Son’s former contract with Pledis Entertainment expired after 10 years earlier in June.

KeyEast said, “Son Dam-bi is judged to have high value as a celebrity. She is already actively working as a singer and television host, but since she also has limitless potential as an actress, we are expecting her to take part not only in more TV dramas and films, but also in musicals and other projects.”

The talent agency also said that they “will not overlook support to help (Son) to more actively participate through (the agency’s) systematic and expert management know-how.”

Son, 31, began her musical career in 2007 and achieved success with K-pop hits “Crazy” and “On a Saturday Night.”

She launched her acting career in 2008 in the TV drama “Dream” and also appeared in dramas “Light and Shadows” (2011) and “What’s With This Family?” (2015). Son also hosted the beauty program “Son Dam-bi’s Beautiful Days” in 2013.

KeyEast currently manages high-profile actors Kim Soo-hyun, Im Soo-jung, Han Ye-seul, Kim Hyun-joong and Park Seo-joon, among others.
