Sung Yu-ri to play job seeker

Actress Sung Yu-ri will become a job seeker who studies hard to get hired by a big conglomerate in the new drama “Monster.”

The drama's broadcaster MBC on Tuesday released photos of Sung studying hard with her hair tied up and wearing round black glasses.

In the new drama, Sung plays Oh Soo-yeon, who has to take care of her autistic younger brother after her father passes away. During the day, she is a part-time worker at an office and in the evening, she studies hard to find a stable, full-time job. After her hard work, she lands a job at a conglomerate. There, she meets Kang Ki-tan, played by Kang Ji-hwan, and Do Kun-woo, played by Park Ki-woong, and becomes mired in a love triangle.

This is the third time for Sung and Kang to act together since drama “Hong Gil-dong” in 2008 and film “Runway Cop” in 2012.

Seasoned actors Jung Bo-seok, Bae Jong-ok, Jung Woong-in, Sung Ji-ru, Lee Deok-hwa and Park Yeong-gyu star in the drama, alongside Lee Gi-kwang of Beast, Lee El, Jin Tae-hyun and Lee Yeol-eum.

The new Monday-Tuesday drama will kick off on March 28 on MBC channel.
