Song Joong-ki will make a cameo appearance on the ninth episode of JTBC’s drama “Man to Man,” according to JTBC on Thursday.

“Song Joong-ki will appear on ‘Man to Man’ as a banker for the coming week’s episode,” an official from the drama said. “He agreed to appear in the drama for the scriptwriter Kim Won-suk, as the actor has built a close relationship with Kim by starring in KBS2’s hit drama ‘Descendants of the Sun.’”

Kim -- one of the main Korean drama writers -- not only wrote the script for “Man to Man,” but also contributed to the success of “Descendants of the Sun,” which came to an end in April.

On Feb. 2, the 31-year-old actor was spotted filming a scene for the upcoming episode, which will air Saturday.

Meanwhile, Namgoong Min will also appear on the 10th episode of the action drama as a favor for director Lee Chang-min, who helmed SBS’ “Remember: War of the Sons” (2015). He will play the role of the villain Nam Gyu-man.
