AAU Includes a separate Masters group:
In 1971 Bob Fine (New York) assisting creating a separate group for Masters within the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) organization.  The December 1970 AAU National Convention approved the 1971 separation.  Masters is no longer involved with the AAU, instead today its a group under the USATF.

Masters Sports Association (MSA):
Masters Sports Association was formed by Bob Fine in 1972 (New York). (Link).  MSA held Masters meets in the 1970s and 1980s.
Note:  1986 Bob Fine (former MSA founder) moved to Florida (July 1986 NMN, PDF, pg 7 of 44).   Masters Sports Association is no longer around.
