Pinches has been beaten twice by Bond this year

Norwich-based snooker professional Barry Pinches has been knocked out of the China Open second round by Derbyshire's Nigel Bond.

Pinches had beaten defending champion Graeme Dott 5-1 in the first round but then lost by the same score to Bond.

The defeat was Pinches' second to Bond this year, he also lost to him in the final qualifying round for the World Championships earlier this month.

The pair both turned pro in the same year, in 1989.
