UK Championship 2007: Shaun Murphy
Shaun Murphy
The 2005 world champion has achieved his other dream this season.

The 25-year-old Rotherham-based player is now also the provisional world number one, helped by semi-final appearances at the Grand Prix and NI Trophy.

Murphy's efforts at the Crucible in 2005 was nothing short of outstanding. He became the lowest ranked player - 48 - to win the title, beating Matthew Stevens.

Murphy is renowned for his fearless long potting. He is a great break builder and is a good tip to add the UK title to his world crown.
