Minus DiPietro, Dunham expected in goal vs. Panthers

The New York Islanders expect goaltender Rick DiPietro to miss Saturday night's game against the Florida Panthers, according to a published report.

After suffering an injury during a mid-ice collision with Montreal Canadiens forward Steve Begin on Tuesday, DiPietro told a club spokesman Friday that he's "not feeling well," Newsday reported.

Prior to DiPietro's injury, the former No. 1 overall draft pick had started a career-best 18 straight games.

Mike Dunham likely will be in net to face the Panthers in Florida. On Thursday night, Dunham got pulled in the third period after giving up three goals in 76 seconds to the Senators. Wade Dubielewicz was recalled Wednesday from Bridgeport of the AHL and replaced Dunham in the Ottawa game.
