Nashik: BJP national president Amit Shah will be in Mangi Tungi on Friday to participate in the religious events underway as part of the consecration of the 108-ft tall idol of Lord Rishabhnatha, the first Jain Teerthankar.
While the leader will participate in the religious events at the foothills of Mangi Tungi and address the gathering of devotees in the huge pendal, it is not sure whether he will visit the exact location where the idol has been carved out of a single stone structure.

"The organisers are eager to show the idol to Shah. However, the final decision will be of his security officials. Shah will be covered with Z+ security given by the CRPF. His officials will decide about his visit to the hills after inspecting the routes and security arrangements," said Paras Lohade, one of the spokespersons of the organising committee.
According to Shah's pre-decided schedule, he will reach Mangi Tungi by chopper at 2 pm and will stay there till 4.15 pm.
In the meanwhile, the second day of the six-day consecration event saw the events such as Abhisheka, the routine pooja, Yadhnyamandal Vidhan (Beginning of holy Yadnya) and Navgrah Havan (worship of nine Grahas). Pramod Kumar Jain and Anima Jain from Model Town (New Delhi) were the hosts of Yadnya Mandal event.
On Saturday, the major event of Garbha Kalyanak will be held in presence of Shah. It will be the celebration of conception of Lord Rishabhdeva in the womb of his mother - Mata Marudevi.
A team of 400-plus artistes will come up with a theatrical presentation on the legend of 16 dreams seen by Mata Marudevi, the mother of Lord Rishabhanatha.
