KBS' hit drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" continued to bake up high TV ratings, dominating the Wednesday and Thursday night primetime lineup for the 11th consecutive week.
Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday revealed that "Bread," into its 22nd episode which aired on August 19 scored ratings of 43.7 percent and 44.9 percent on Wednesday night, upholding the top spot on TV charts during the third week of August.
This week's episode focused on how Ma-joon (Joo Won) leaves Oh Doo-yong's (Jang Hang-sun) baking school with a grudge because he failed to make it into the second round of a baking competition. Tak-koo (Yoon Si-yoon) promises to defend Oh Doo-yong's honor when he is in danger of losing his title as the baking master.
New SBS' drama "My Girlfriend is Gumiho," starring Korean singer and actor Lee Seung-gi and Shin Min-ah, came in second place with viewership ratings in the 12 to mid-14 percent range on both charts.
