Korean singer Kim Kyu-jong will begin his solo singing career with the release of his mini-album next week, according to his agency B2M Entertainment.
On Monday, B2M announced in a press release that Kim's album titled "TURN ME ON" will become available on September 27, his return to the K-pop scene since a year and a half ago when he pursed his singing career as a member of boy band SS501.
Kim made his debut as a member of boy band SS501 along with Kim Hyun-joong, Park Jung-min, Heo Young-saeng and Kim Hyung-joon with their first self-titled album in 2005. The group released various hit songs such as "Snow Prince," U R Man" and "Love Ya."
He signed with B2M Entertainment along with Heo Young-saeng after their group contract with DSP Media expired in June 2010. Kim has since starred as the male lead in the musical "Goong" which recently ended its run.
