Korean actor Song Kang-ho’s first historical film has now filled its casting boat with big name stars including “The Thieves” actors Lee Jung-jae and Kim Hye-soo.
“Read Your Face” [working title] has finalized its main cast members and is getting things to ready to go into shooting next month, according to the movie’s distribution company Showbox’s press release Tuesday.
In addition to the three ten-million-audience big names, two rookie stars Jo Jeong-seok of “Architecture 101” (2012) and Lee Jong-seok of “R2B: Return to Base” (2012) have taken the pic's supporting roles each as Nae-kyung’s assistant and Nae-kyung’s son.
Veteran actor Baek Yoon-sik of historic comedy pic “I Am The King” (2012) and "The Taste of Money" (2012) will also make his second cinematic appearance as a historical figure, Kim Jong-seo.
The script was awarded by the Korean Film Council back in 2010.
Set to begin shooting next month, the anticipated feature will open in local theaters next year.
