2000 Events

• 22 May 2000 -- As of this date there had been more than 470 separate incidents of Iraqi surface-to-air missile and AAA fire directed against coalition pilots since December 1998. Iraqi aircraft violated the Southern No-Fly Zone more than 150 times during the same period.
• 09 January 2000 -- As of this date there had been more than 420 separate incidents of Iraqi Anti-Aircraft Artillery and surface-to-air missile fire directed at coalition pilots since December 1998. Iraqi aircraft violated the Southern No-Fly Zone more than 140 times since Operation Desert Fox.
