Legendary K-pop group Sechs Kies has returned with a bang.

After performing the group’s latest single “Three Words” during its two-day sold-out concert last month in Seoul, Sechs Kies released the track on local music platforms on Friday at midnight.

The boy band’s first release in 16 years, the song topped not only all major local music charts -- MelOn, Mnet, Olleh Music, Soribada, Genie, Bugs, Naver Music and Monkey3 -- but also one of China’s largest music streaming platforms QQ Music and global iTunes chart in Taiwan, according to YG Entertainment on Friday. It is also currently ranked among the top songs on iTunes charts in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and more.

Additionally, the official music video for the track has received over 100,000 views within 12 hours of its release on YouTube.

Produced by hip-hop trio Epik High’s Tablo and YG Entertainment’s producer team Future Bounce, “Three Words” refers to the words “now,” “here” and “us,” capturing the story of reunited lovers.
