Psy Regrets not Being at his Grandfathers Funeral

Psy, the artist who created the entire "Gangnam Style" movement, has only one regret. Psy regrets the fact that he never got the chance to say goodbye to his grandfather.

Early in his career, Psy was arrested for smoking and possessing marijuana. He was punished with a fine in January of 2002.

When interviewed by Star Magazine he stated, "I smoked something that my country strictly prohibits. I didn't realize I was doing something wrong until I got arrested. To tell you the truth, I was 25 years old back then, and I was scared as hell."

Psy's parents also refused to bail him out of jail. He says, "My mother said, 'I knew you were going to cause trouble!' My father shook my hand and said, 'Take this opportunity to quit smoking cigarettes.' Then he left too." But while he was in jail, his grandfather lost his fight with cancer and Psy was not to be at his funeral.

Psy also says, "I was very close to him. I was not there at the funeral... I will regret this for the rest of my life. My grandpa loved me so much and I couldn't be there for him when he was on his deathbed."

Psy is currently still in America promoting his worldwide sensation, "Gangnam Style."
