HOME OWNERS – To record a document:

Please call 978-322-9000 or email [email protected] before coming to  the registry to record a document. We will review the process and provide  you with the information necessary to record your document safely and without difficulty. For more info, please see our Record a Document page.

CURRENT OPERATIONS (as of April 1st 2024)

  • Documents to be recorded may be dropped off INSIDE the registry
  • Registered Land and Plans must be emailed for pre-approval before bringing them to the registry. SEE IMPORTANT NOTICE re Registered Land. 
  • Original Registered Land documents  will be returned to customers beginning with documents registered on June 1, 2022. Please include return envelopes/postage with your documents.  
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE is only available by phone or email
  • There are no dedicated Closing or Research Rooms at the registry
  • Please use electronic recording or US Mail/Fedex whenever possible
