Kennedy Space Center's iconic launch countdown clock has a new home.

On Tuesday, the clock, known widely as the clock shown to count down space shuttle launches, was introduced to its new home and was unveiled at the entrance to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
The countdown clock was set to T-minus 10 seconds to the dedication of the clock.
The countdown clock has been tied visually with the flagpole at its original location at the Kennedy Space Center press site. According to NASA, the clock was built and installed in 1969, and the clock and flag pole together were listed in the National Register of Historic Places on Jan. 21, 2000.
