My Love From The Star tells the story of an alien trapped on Earth for over 400 years after being left behind by his kin. In the present day, the alien disguised himself as a teacher named Matteo Do (Kim Soo-Hyun) until his kind returns to get him.

With three months left on Earth, Matteo met a self-centered, slightly-troubled actress named Steffi Cheon (Jun Hi-Hyun) and fell in love with her.

Matteo must decide whether to leave Steffie or not since death will come to him in case he decides to stay on Earth for her.
