Subject: Useful and Enjoyable Culinary Reading

These 19th century recipes (aka receipts) are useful, and some of the more exotic recipes ("Calf's Head Soup") make for interesting and enjoyable reading. The the cake and dessert recipes are most easily tranferrable for a 21st century cook.
