Rock’s Backpages

Rock’s Backpages covers five decades of rock music, offering full-text articles and audio interviews of artists and writers. Most of the magazines indexed in Rocks Backpages are not available in any other digital resource. Rock’s Backpages was not originally intended for libraries and in some instances this is glaringly apparent‐‐i.e, the lack of complete periodical coverage data and unnecessary multiple search interfaces. The publisher endeavors to make subscriptions more attractive to libraries with OpenURL enabling for Web scale discovery, generous user authorizations, and price negotiations with consortia.
