Jackson Heights

The Jackson Heights historic district was built primarily between 1914 and 1939, is the nation’s first and largest planned cooperative and garden apartment community. Brick structures in a mixture of sizes from single-family homes to large apartment buildings exhibit a number of revival styles including Tudor, Italianate, Mediterranean and Georgian. Designated October 19, 1993.
