Enhancing Your Consulting Skills

  • Chapter
SAP Project Management Pitfalls

Abstract

Unfortunately, implementations sometimes fail due to a lack of skill or—most important—a lack of good attitudes, integrity, and teamwork. In most cases, remembering that “honesty is the best policy” could alleviate many challenges: the person who raises their hand during turbulent times, states problems clearly, and offers a proposed solution, is a leader. Today, technology has become a driving force for organizations, offering enhanced capabilities to expand business opportunities and venture into new areas of products and services. In essence, technology is now the brain of any industry. As a technology consultant or project manager, you’re a brand ambassador for SAP and the organization. Hence, your actions should be bound by ethics, and you should go the extra mile for the organization for your team.
