Packed to the Rafters and Underbelly are 2011’s top local dramas

Packed to the Rafters is Australia’s top rating local TV drama in 2011.

With the ratings period over for the year, the Channel Seven drama was third most watched regular piece of programming across all televsion with an average of 1.861m viewers a week.

Underbelly: Razor was the second most watched drama with 1.595m viewers while the Underbelly tele movies Tell them Lucifer was Here was third with 1.529m.

The ABC’s two part mini-series Paper Giants the Birth of Cleo was fourth with 1.487m.

The dramady Winners and Losers averaged 1.478m in fifth place while bushranger series Wild Boys received 1.132m in sixth.

John Edwards dram Offspring received an average of 1.098m in seventh place while soap opera Home and Away was close behind on 1,041m.

In ninth and tenth place were two comedies, At Home With Julia, rating 968,000 and Angry Boys in tenth place with 935,000 viewers.
