TVXQ garnered five different awards at Japanese Golden Disk Awards.

According to an announcement that was released through TVXQ's official website on March 2nd, TVXQ recently won five awards at 'The 29th Japanese Golden Disk Awards,' including 'Best Asian Artist,' 'Best Album of the Year,' 'Best Music Video of the Year,' and 'Best 3 Album.'

'Japan Golden Disk Awards,' hosted by the Japanese Records Association, is one of the most prestigious music awards ceremony held in Japan, and award winners get decided based on album and music video sales volume every year.

Receiving 'Best Asian Artist' indicates the colossal popularity and influence that TVXQ hold in all across Asia, and they received 'Best Album of the Year' in recognition of fabulous achievements that they made with 'TREE' album, which was released back in March 2014.

In addition, 'LIVE TOUR 2014~TREE~' was nominated for 'Best Music Video (Asia),' and another album called 'WITH,' which was officially released back in December, was nominated for 'Best 3 Album (Asia),' further indicating TVXQ's huge popularity.

TVXQ met up with 2 million fans through three Japan concert tour that were held between 2012 and 2014, and they currently hold records for the biggest single sales volume achieved by foreign artist in Japan, the highest number of #1 debut on Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, the highest number of #1 debut on Top 10 Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, and also the largest sales volume achieved during the first week of release ever achieved by foreign artists.

Another idol group of SM Entertainment, Girls' Generation, were nominated for 'Best 3 Album' along with TVXQ, and they also garnered 'Best Song of the Year by Download (Asia)' with a ballad number called 'Indestructible,' which was released through 'THE BEST' album.

Meanwhile, TVXQ are in the middle of 'TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2015 ~WITH~' tour, and they are going to hold concerts in Osaka on March 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.
