Neighbourhood Statistics

We are currently making some exciting changes to the Neighbourhood Statistics Service Website. As well as a new look, NeSS are also releasing the first detailed 2001 Census results for England and Wales - Key Statistics for Local Authorities.

The results will provide the headline figures for each topic covered in the Census including:

  • ethnicity and religion;
  • occupation and industry of employment;
  • household composition;
  • health and provision of unpaid care.

We will be back online at 11am on Thursday 13 February. Meanwhile the National Statistics website http://www.statistics.gov.uk/ is available.
