The Hanging Man
19 April 2003  to 17 May 2003
Courtyard Theatre

Just outside the city wall, a group gathers around the cooking pot. Bent backs, big bellies and tall brimless hats. All the same but not the same.

Their time has come and gone and nobody is interested anymore. But in spite of that - here they are. Soon they get to telling the story. The same one they always tell. The story of the hanging man.

Following their success at the Playhouse with Lifegame, 70 Hill Lane, and as co-creators of the legendary Shockheaded Peter, Improbable return with a sweet-bitter-sweet tale of a half-finished building and a man in search of death.
