Introduction
This page contains various European brewing industry statistics which may be of interest to the beer enthusiast. The sources from which the information has been assembled are listed at the end of each table.

I have deliberately gone no further back into history than the 1970's. As I intend to add new figures annually, the tables would become too unwieldy. If you're lucky, I will eventually add a separate page of historical beer statistics.

I have a dedicated pages with more detailed statistics on the German brewing industry, Czech brewing industry, Danish brewing industry and UK brewing industry.
