“The studios are taking their time deciding if they want to put movies on iTunes,” commented Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter in a Chicago Tribune report. “They don’t want to put a movie out there and have it pirated by the millions in China.”

Who are they kidding? The millions in China are already pirating any movie they want to, and in far higher quality than iTunes will provide. Anyone who thinks movies are remotely secure from foreign piracy hasn't seen the Russian kiosks standing in broad daylight with stacks of current titles for $3 a pop.
