ChefMoz Fine Dining Menu
by hotpink

This is grape harvest season, and bcwine is incredibly busy torturing grapes to make them whine. So he asked me to ghost-write a ChefMoz column for the newsletter. Unfortunately, I'm not a terribly active ChefMoz editor, so I really don't know much about what's going on there. Fortunately, they have a menu:

An editor with ODP
Said: We like sites that are free
But I've got the munchies quite badly,
I can't find a good restaurant, oh so sadly,
A fix: I'll cause ChefMoz to be!

  • Appetizers
  • Soup
    • ChefMoz Consomme: There are always editors in a stew over at the ODP, but luckily ChefMoz is a calmer and friendlier place.
  • Salads
    • Looking for a light meal? ChefMoz editing is easy to learn, even for newbie ODP editors.
    • Town so small it's not listed? A friendly word and we'll create it for that restaurant listing.
    • Mixed Green with Envy? Just join up and start having fun!
  • Entrees
    • If you're in the mood for something hearty, consider this: ChefMoz is now the biggest restaurant database in the world
  • Pasta Dishes
    • Spaghetti Code: Debate is ongoing about whether we need to recode ChefMoz from scratch, to replace all the current bugs with a fresh set of bugs.
    • Link-uini Carbonara: link to dining guides, reviews, and restaurant web sites.
  • Special Japanese Menu
    • Restaurant has closed.
      I must alter the listing.
      Too bad: it was good.
    • Someone likes this place.
Gave five stars for the service.
      And four for the food.
    • Go through the phone book
      Note name, address, phone number.
      That's a new listing!
    • Should I publish this?
Review just says, "this place stinks".
      Not very useful!
  • Beverages
    • Your Absinthe is Noticed: ChefMoz needs you!
    • Drink from the cup of knowledge: you don't need to know a lot about food to join up, but you'll have a lot of fun learning.
  • Desserts
    • Once you've enjoyed filling up a delicious ChefMoz category, you can link it from the corresponding ODP Regional/ category with a little purple cone like this: little purple ChefMoz cone
    • If you're still not satisfied with this information, select from a dessert cart of tempting ChefMoz metas and editalls, seasonally priced (check freshness dates.)
  • Whine List
    • ChefMoz needs more editors. Always. This means you.
    • Even if all you do is add a few details about the restaurants you know, or approve a user review or two, you'll be helping. Please?

Takeout orders available at the ChefMoz RDF dump.

Taxes and gratuities extra. Void where prohibited. Always read the fine print. Eat your vegetables.
