Members of the popular male vocal group Super Juniors recently completed the '24-Hour Marathon of Hope.' The event, which was held as a part of 'Hope TV 24,' a program on SBS which collects charity funds, began on May 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cheonggyecheon Plaza in downtown Seoul. During the next 24 hours, the members went around Seoul encouraging citizens to make contributions. The marathon ended at the starting point at 6:20 p.m. on May 10. The members will donate the 10,000 dollars they collected to a Mongolian school in Korea which is currently at risk of closing down. The six members completed the 70 km route, stopping only for short rests and food. After completing the grueling marathon, all six members and the students from the Mongolian school who cheered them on shed tears of joy together. SBS recently announced that 'Hope TV 24' collected a total of 250,000 dollars so far this year. Donations have been made to children suffering from rare diseases and disabilities. Starting this year, SBS has pledged to help immigrant workers in Korea.
