Super Size Orientation 2005
Otago University, Feb-March 2005
One of the most popular night time events on the Orientation calendar is the annual "Miss O Week" competition at The Outback pub. This year a big field of twenty one competitors (including one rather hairy one!) competed for over $1,000 worth of prizes from sponsors Jim Beam, Harvey Norman and of course The Outback.

The all important question time bought out some rather interesting answers, especially to the question of "What has been your most embarrasing moment?". The judging panel had a tough job as the ladies, and the hairy one (right), gave it their all to woo the crowd for their support.

Competitors strut their stuff in the swimwear section of the show before the final judging much to the delight of the packed crowd.
Taking swimwear to an all new level as one of the competitors strides out in her stunning beach ensemble of wetsuit, flippers, goggles & snorkel! Other competitors stuck to the more traditional (and definitely crowd favourite!) bikinis. We won't show you what the hairy competitor was wearing under his towel!!!
The five semi-finalists, then the final three, and the eventual winner Sarah Sutherland who walked away with a stack of prizes from sponsors Jim Beam and The Outback.
