Welcome

Provincial tourto the official website of the world-wide Anglican Communion, comprising over 80 million members in 44 regional and national member churches around the globe in over 160 countries.

We hope that you will visit our website often, not only for the latest news and information from our Anglican/Episcopal family of churches, but also to become familiar with the ministry, mission and work of the Instruments of Communion, served by the Anglican Communion Office in London.

Who We Are

The vitality of the Communion is experienced in the life and mission of the different Churches of the Communion. You can find information about their work under the "Resources" heading below as well as links to their own websites. The ministry of Anglican Communion at international level can be approached through the ongoing programmes of the various official commissions and networks and the work of the "Instruments of Communion" listed here. In these pages you will find the various resources we share in the Communion and links to the staff members responsible for the different tasks and ministries.

From the Most Revd Ian Ernest, Archbishop of the Province...In collaboration with the Malagasy Embassy, the Province will organize a vigil of prayer for Madagascar in the Diocese of Mauritius, on Tuesday 17th March from  7.30(local time). Many civilian organization, Church institutions and denominations have been invited to join us during this time of prayer and supplication.

This year’s United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) was focused on the priority theme: the equal sharing of responsibilities between women and men, including caregiving in the context of HIV/AIDS. The Anglican Delegates at CSW 53 worked hard to ensure that they took part in all aspects of the two week programme. They were delegates representing the Anglican Communion and supported by Anglican Women’s Empowerment (AWE) and by a worship framework which in itself was challenging and sustaining.
