Englewood resident Thomas A. Gilleland won $250,000 for matching five numbers in the Friday, March 20, Mega Millions' drawing. He receives $172,500 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent.

Gilleland purchased the ticket from Englewood Drive Thru, 709 S. Main St., which will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling a second-tier prize winning ticket in the Ohio Lottery on-line game.

Gilleland used auto lotto to select the winning numbers, which were 15-16-20-39-40. The mega ball was 26.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has raised more than $15.5 billion to support K-12 education across Ohio.

The Lottery's fiscal year 2008 transfer to the Lottery Profits for Education Fund was $672.2 million.
