Most Recent or Upcoming Meetings Sponsored by TCMA REGION 7, the 2009 Annual Retreat will be held at the legendary Horseshoe Bay Resort on Thursday, March 12th and Friday, March 13th. Horseshoe Bay is located in the breathtaking Texas Hill Country. Horseshoe Bay overlooks Lake LBJ and is surrounded by beautifully manicured waterscapes and gardens. The resort features 3 championship Texas golf courses, a full-service spa & fitness facility, a marina, 4 resort pools, and 4 spectacular hill country dining options. This years retreat will feature Dr. Ray Perryman from the Perryman Group, Craig Rapp, Director, ICMA Consulting Services, Elizabeth Morris, CEO and Chief Economist for Insight Research and Sean Garretson, President of Pegasus Planning. The retreat's theme is "Managing in Challenging Economic Times". Please note at the February meeting it was mentioned that Ray Perryman may not be a speaker. We are glad to announce that he will be a speaker Thursday afternoon. Special thanks to Sonny Kretzschmar who was able to secure Ray for us. Attached you will find the retreat brochure and registration information. Registration is $250 and includes all educational sessions, conference materials and meals. A special conference rate at the Horseshoe Bay Marriott of $85 plus $15 resort fees may still be available (accommodation arrangements must be made directly with the Marriott at 1-830-598-8600).
