Starting in 1996, Alexa Internet has been donating their crawl data to the Internet Archive. Flowing in every day, these data are added to the Wayback Machine after an embargo period.
Coming directly out of left field is Javier Ruiz Caldera's spoof flick, Spanish Movie, which brings our beloved Leslie Nielsen to Spain for a foreign film hoping to get laughs at the expense of The Orphanage, REC, Pan’s Labyrinth, The Sea Inside and even No Country For Old Men. For those of you who dig of Scary Movie, Airplane, among many others, maybe Spanish Movie will deliver what recent US spoofs haven't been able to? I don't like the godawful US spoofs, but this has potential. It helps that I've seen pretty much all of the movies. I wonder when it will get released in the US. It probably won't get a wide release, though TRANSYLMANIA did so there's no reason for this not getting one. It would do better than that did for sure.
