     Notes:

    The Captain has secured victory.

Carter moves within a frame of victory, but he'll have to wait until after the interval now.

Cope wins a consolation frame to finish the first session 7-2 adrift.

Cope has thrown another frame away. He missed on 64 and let Carter in for a 49 clearance. It's one way traffic.

It's beginning to look like Carter's got this match well under control. He's playing well and is now 6-1 ahead.

Cope opens his account with a nice 62 break.

Carter gets away to the better start although both players had chances in the opening frame.
    Notes:

Cope has found some form at last. It may be far too late in the match, but it's good to see.

Ali Carter rattles in 75 to leave Cope in his chair.
Welcome back to the final session of this match.

Allister Carter will hope to dispose of Jamie Cope quickly, but Cope, who is desparately trying to gain a toe hold in the Top Sixteen, needs to win this match.
