Last night we brought you word of Christopher Nolan's surprise appearance at WonderCon and of the Inception swag that seemed to house clues to a future viral marketing plan. As it turns out, the future is already here!

On the back of the promotional shirt was a QR code, a small black and white image that contains data readable by certain scanners, including programs found on any smartphone. I managed to scan mine on my G1's ixMAT Scanner and was given the following URL: www.pasivdevice.org.

The site seems to be a pretty intense overview of the machine that Leonardo DiCaprio's character uses to architect dreams in others. Called the Portable Automated Somnacin IntraVenous (PASIV) Device, the silver briefcase is designed to administer a fictional drug called Somnacin. Pay careful attention to the steps involved, there's a test at the end! Once you read through the complete manual (done in style reminiscent of Nolan's elaborate special edition DVD of Memento), you'll have to complete an animated trial. It ultimately culminates with an appearance by the film's tagline, "Your mind is the scene of the crime," also a hyperlink to the already established www.mind-crime.com, now open to "Stage Two" of the site's online game.

So go and learn the ways of the PASIV device. By the time Inception hits theaters on July 16, you won't even have to go see it. You can just experience your dream version in perfect clarity.
