America's First Coffeehouse

The first coffeehouse in America was opened in October of 1676 by John Sparry in Boston, according to the book When in Boston by Jim Vrabel. Dunkin Donuts would become a franchise five years later and today serves more than 3 million customers per day, according to its website.

So the question is now, where can you find the best coffee in Boston? Bostoncoffee.com has some ideas.
