FAB fire prevention workshop

The Fire Advisory Board {FAB} in collaboration with the Guyana Fire Service {GFS} and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce & Industry {GCCI} have designed a programme aimed at sensitizing the business community on the importance of fire safety and fire prevention issues. This seminar forms part of the ongoing program that the FAB has embarked upon and will continue to conduct such sessions in a strategic manner.
ERC, Private Sector/Business Community to host one-day Conference
The Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) in collaboration with the Private Sector/Business Community will be hosting a one-day Conference under the Theme; “Promoting the development of harmonious relations between ethnic groups and removing barriers to participation; ensuring equal opportunities and access for all”.
GCCI condemns the abuse of Permits for Immediate Delivery (PID) and Prior To Processing (PTP) systems

It has come to the attention of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry that some importers who are granted Permits for Immediate Delivery (PID) by the Guyana Revenue Authority have in the past failed to provide accurate information on the Declaration which causes frequent processing delays.
