Reanne Evans won her second match at Q School to set up a clash with former world number six Mike Hallett.
Seven-time Women's World Champion Evans failed to win a match in 18 attempts last year, but is only three wins away from regaining her spot on the 2011/12 season.
She followed up her 4-0 win over Sacha Plaha on Friday with another 4-0 victory, this time against Dean Venables.
Hallett, 51, defeated 17-year-old Sean O'Sullivan by a 4-0 scoreline as he continued his run at the Q School, where he has now won two matches and not lost a frame yet.
A dozen players from three Q School events will secure their spots on the 2011/12 season with four from each competition advancing.
Elsewhere in the second round of the first event, Martin O'Donnell, Gary Wilson, Allan Taylor and Jamie O'Neill all moved into the last 32 with 4-0 victories.
There were also victories for Antony Parsons, David Gilbert, Robin Hull, Fraser Patrick, Jamie Walker, Chris Norbury, John Astley, Mei Xi Wen, Kyren Wilson, David Grace, Alex Davies, Tian Pengfei, Adam Wicheard and Craig Steadman.
