Tailgaters “Original” Beer Mustard

Tailgaters Beer Mustard is an old family recipe, passed down through generations in the Potter family.

Sue and Jim Potter made the beer mustard mostly for their families in the beginning. But as friends and co-workers sampled the beer mustard and fell in love with it’s sweet and spicy taste, they ended up making it constantly. It’s a long process and requires large batches to be made at once. Sue and Jim just couldn’t keep up with the demand.

So….. They decided to go into business. They came up with a plan and started the process of setting up the company. It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but eventually the first batch was commercially produced. It wasn’t an easy process, but all the hard work did eventually pay off.

Next, they turned to family and friends who love the beer mustard so much, and asked for some help in getting the word out. Between trade shows and direct marketing, Tailgaters Beer Mustard is selling like hotcakes. It is in restaurants and stores from south Florida to Indiana. The demand is so great, Sue and Jim found a new manufacturer to keep up with the demand.

With Tailgaters “Original” doing so well, the Potter’s came up with another great idea… Why not add a “HOT” and a “GARLIC” to the Tailgaters line of Beer Mustards. Regular customers were thrilled and a threesome was formed.

Now customers have more to choose from and a greater variety of foods they can prepare. (If they can make up their minds which one they like the best!)

Most sauces are Net Wt. 6 oz to 12 oz bottles, whereas Tailgaters Beer Mustard is Net Wt. 15 oz. We purchase whole mustard seed and have it special ground just before each batch is produced. This is one of the reasons Tailgaters Beer Mustard has a superior taste. Also, the beer is not a flavoring added - but real beer. We do not skimp on ingredients to cut cost like many other products.
