Joseph Gordon-Levitt: "I play Arthur. They call him the point man and so when problems arise, it's sort of Arthur's job to smooth things out - and problems inevitably arise."I heard you did almost all of your own stunts.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt: "Yeah, I did them all except there is one shot that lasts that [snapping his fingers>] long, but I've got to give credit where credit is due because there are actors who take credit and they really weren't doing it. And I learned that by making friends with this whole team of stunt guys who would then say, 'Yeah, man, that bastard actor! I did all of his stunts and he said that he did,' and blah, blah, blah. So yeah, Andy is in a shot. But other than that, they were really cool and brought me in and taught me a lot, and let me do it. It was hard and it hurt sometimes, but it was so much fun."
I saw it last night and I was thinking to myself that they put you through hell.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt: "Well, I wouldn't call it hell at all, but they certainly... It was a challenge and it would have to be for it to look real. I think, you know, Christopher Nolan likes to make everything about his movies feel authentic and real, and so to do it in a more cartoony, digital way wouldn't have had the same feeling. So it had to be a challenge."
