QUALIFICATION AND SEEDING
The Group draw has been seeded according to the World Rankings at the end of last season.
At the end of each group, the top three players will qualify to the knockout stages.
Group positions will be determined firstly by games won, then by aggregate frame difference, then by the result of the two players involved.
If any ties arrive between players when trying to determine qualifying or seeding positions, then a best of three play off will be played.
After all 60 qualifiers have been decided, the draw for the last 64 stage will be made, based upon new seeding positions from the round robin groups.
The 20 group winners will now be seeded 1-20 in the draw, with the highest four placed seeds receiving a bye into the last 32 stage. Should there be a tie
for these positions, then the original seeding position will be used. If a tie still exists, then a random draw will be made.
The best twelve runners up will be seeded 21-32 in the draw, with all remaining qualifiers drawn at random.
