Ricky Walden
Ricky Walden scored a maximum break and a hat-trick of wins at PTC10 on Tuesday.

The former Shanghai Masters champion registered the first 147 of his career in the third frame of his first round 4-1 win over Gareth Allen. It was the 81st maximum in snooker history and third in a week following 147s from Mike Dunn and David Gray.

Chester's Walden went on to beat Mark King 4-3, then edged out Mark Williams 4-3 thanks to a run of 55 in the deciding frame.

Leeds potter David Grace enjoyed perhaps the best day of his pro career so far, knocking out Mark Davis and Liam Highfield then coming from 3-0 down to beat Jimmy Robertson 4-3. Breaks of 79, 53 and 69 got him to 3-3, then after Robertson opened the decider with a 51, Grace cleared up with 66.

Ken Doherty boosted his chances of finishing in the top 24 of the PTC Order of Merit with a trio of wins, finishing with a 4-2 defeat of Sam Baird, who had scored a shock victory over Ronnie O'Sullivan in the first round.

China's Liang Wenbo came from 2-0 down to beat Anthony McGill 4-3. In a dramatic final frame, Liang made a break of 60 before McGill recovered to force a respotted black, only for Liang to slot it home.

Graeme Dott and Stephen Lee were the only top 16 players to make it through Tuesday's action, Dott beating Fergal O'Brien 4-2 in the third round while Lee saw off Simon Bedford 4-1.

Dominic Dale beat Jamie O'Neill 4-1 while Dave Harold came from 2-0 down to beat Tian Pengfei 4-2
