Whitney Houston’s brother has spoken out about his sister's untimely death, simply saying that he is “devastated”.

Michael Houston, son of the legendary singer Cissy Houston and brother to the 48 year old star could barely speak with grief but managed to tell Radar Online: “We are devastated. We don't have any other comment at this time but thank you for calling.”

The singer’s devastated daughter 18 year-old Bobbi Kristina reportedly arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel earlier today with other close family members.

Whitney was found in her room by security services on Saturday afternoon. Emergency servives failed to revive the star and she pronounced dead at 3:55pm. 

In her last touching interview, Whitney paid tribute to her daughter and called her an 'inspiration'.
