Ali Carter, who suffers from Crohn's Disease, has pulled out of the Star Xing Pai Haikou World Open for medical reasons.
The World No 13 was due to play in the event in China on Tuesday February 28 against Marcus Campbell, who now gets a bye to the last 16.
The Star Xing Pai Haikou World Open is a new world ranking event and runs from February 27 to March 4.
