KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jimmy Cliff’s critically acclaimed Rebirth is among five nominees in the Best Reggae Album category of the 55th Grammy Awards.
The other nominees are Miracle by the Original Wailers (MRG Recordings); Tomahawk Technique (VP/Atlantic Records) by Sean Paul; New Legend: Jamaica 50th Edition (Mondo Tunes) by Sly and Robbie & the Jam Masters; and Reggae Got Soul: Unplugged On Strawberry Hill (Metropolis Recordings) by Toots and the Maytals.
The 55th Grammy Awards takes place February 10 in Los Angeles, California at the Staples Center.
