Breaks in excess of 147

It is of course possible to make a break in above 147 with the help of a free ball in which case 155 is attainable but has never been achieved.

The only break of more than 147 in professional competition was made by Jamie Burnett who had a run of 148 following a free ball. This was against Leo Fernandez in the qualifying rounds of the Travis Perkins UK Championship at Prestatyn on 16 October 2004.
