Porta Treatment

Porta Treatment is an advanced internal boiler water treatment developed by the late Ing. L.D. Porta during the 1960's and 1970's as part of a rigourous research regiment to solve issues related to corrosion in pressure vessels.  Designed for optimal use with non-closed circuit boilers, Porta Treatment (PT) is second-to-none in terms of its ability to prevent the buildup of scale on the internal boiler surfaces, thereby greatly reducing boiler maintenance.

PT is proud to be a sponsor of the Coalition for Sustainable Rail and looks forward to working with it to further refine the boiler treatment and anti-foam regiment developed decades ago.  There is no excuse for any water side boiler problems in the 21st century.  By the 1940's most of the problems had been resolved, now, thanks to PT, ALL of the problems have been resolved.
